About EACH

EACH (Estranged Adult Children Haven) is a peer-support community for adults navigating estrangement, limited contact, or no contact with a parent.

EACH provides opportunities for peer connection, shared lived experience, education, and community support.

Peer Support — Not Professional Treatment

EACH provides peer support and community connection.

EACH does not provide psychotherapy, counseling, clinical treatment, diagnosis, medical care, legal services, or other professional services. Information provided through this website, EACH meetings, communications, articles, resources, facilitators, volunteers, or other participants is not intended to replace advice or treatment from a qualified healthcare, mental health, legal, or other licensed professional.

Participation in EACH does not create a therapist-client, physician-patient, attorney-client, or other professional treatment relationship.

Each participant remains responsible for their own personal decisions, relationships, boundaries, health, safety, and well-being.

EACH does not direct participants to reconcile with a family member, remain estranged, establish no contact, resume contact, or make any other particular family or relationship decision.

Crisis and Emergency Services

EACH is not a crisis service or emergency response provider.

The EACH website, email address, contact forms, phone number, meetings, and other communication channels should not be used for emergency or crisis assistance and may not be monitored continuously.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911.

Participation in Peer-Support Activities

EACH peer-support meetings and related peer-support activities are intended for adults age 18 and older unless otherwise specifically stated.

Participation is voluntary. Participants may choose how much or how little they wish to share.

Experiences, opinions, perspectives, suggestions, and personal stories shared by participants represent the views of those individuals and do not necessarily represent the views of EACH.

Participants should make their own decisions and are not required to follow suggestions or advice offered by another participant.

EACH may establish additional meeting guidelines, community expectations, safety practices, or participation requirements for particular programs or meetings.

Confidentiality and Privacy in Meetings

EACH asks participants to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others.

Participants should not disclose another participant's personal story, identity, contact information, or other private information outside the group without that person's permission.

Recording, photographing, screenshotting, livestreaming, or otherwise distributing meeting conversations or images without appropriate permission is prohibited.

Although EACH asks participants to respect confidentiality, EACH cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality.

Participants are encouraged to share only information they feel comfortable disclosing.

Respectful Conduct

EACH is intended to provide a respectful and supportive environment.

When using the website or participating in EACH activities, you agree not to:

• Record or distribute group meetings or conversations without authorization.

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
